Bonding Day + Monsoon Party

TUDC welcomes the new friends from January 2014 intake to Taylor's University Lakeside Campus and also Taylor's University Dance Club!  :) TUDC is a community of dancers and dance lovers, brought together for a main reason that is to celebrate dance! We conduct dance classes and also event to share our knowledge, learn and enjoy dance together.

Pictures above was taken at the Bonding Day event we organized back in December to bond the BOD and members of TUDC. :) We had food and drinks, sharing sessions and ice breaking games. Everyone got to mingle around and get to know more about each other in the club and also their respective experiences in dance.

Good things other than dancing come from joining the Dance Club too! :P

TUDC also participated in the Monsoon Party where clubs and societies got to gain exposure and also raise funds for their respective clubs. At the beautifully decorated TUDC booth, we raised funds by setting up a dancing game Dance Centre 2 on the Xbox.

We also took the opportunity to celebrate an active member of ours, Jun's belated birthday on the occasion. 

Participation by the fellow Taylorians. :) At the end of the day we did not raise as much money as we hoped for, but our station attracted a lot of attention and everyone had fun.

We wanna thank our members for being ever so active in the club and participate in the events with full enthusiasm. The members played a big part in keeping the club alive and happening. :) With that being said, we cannot wait to greet the new members into this big family! 2013 has been a great year for TUDC, 2014 will be better! A lot of events and performances coming your way, stay tuned.

It is sad to announce that the dance classes conducted by TUDC will be stopping for the rest of the year as the instructors as well as the members need to focus all their energy on the upcoming examinations. But do not fret as classes will resume after the semester break! And we will see you in the near future for more dance classes where we continue to share and learn together. :)

TUDC would also want to shoutout a big thanks to the two Kpop instructors, Yean Wearn and Izzaz from Kgen for joining the TUDC instructors line-up! Thank you for bringing to the members more chances to learn the styles that they enjoy. We appreciate the effort and we look forward to working with you guys more.

Taylor's Ball- Masquerade in Wonderland

Taylor's University Dance Club performed for the Taylor's Hospitality School prom.

 The theme of the night was Masquerade in Wonderland. It was a wonderful event and TUDC was honored to be invited to perform there. The dancers who performed were (from left to right) Timothy, Keryn, Vida and Hendry, and other than the usual style of dance, they infused couple dance elements into this performance to adhere to the theme of the dance, glitz and glam.

Scholar's Party

Taylor's University Dance Club's performers showed their showmanship and professionalism dancing for Scholars Party back on October 18th.

The rain fell heavily but the dancers Hendry, Lejun, Timothy, Ferng and Ben danced for the existing scholars while welcoming the new. This performance infused LA Style and Popping and let's clap our hands for Lejun, Ferng and Ben because it's their first performance with the Dance Club! Taylor's Business School Welcoming Party

Dance Club performed for the Taylor's Business School Welcoming Party on the 1st of October, 2013.

April Intake Orientation - C&S Day

Hi everyone! Were you there during Clubs & Societies Day on the 3rd of April? Once again, the signups were quite a number and we're very happy to welcome the new members to Taylor's University Dance Club (TUDC). We don't just dance in TUDC, we bond. So welcome to our family!

  

We provide all types of dance classes such as Hip Hop, Bboy and Girlstyle. Whether you know how to dance or not, you're most welcomed to join because we're here to share our passion and knowledge! Also, feel free to join our freestyle jamming sessions as well on every Tuesday! Don't forget to like us on Facebook as we'll keep you updated regarding classes, events and performances there :)
