Meet n' Jam by TUDC

On 12th of November, 2012 , TUDC organised an event held in Taylor's itself which is "Meet and Jam" . As people were wondering what is all about? It is a jamming session where everyone are welcomed to move along with crazy music and beats. No stress , no pressure ... Feel the love. <3

Watch the video shown above*

Special thanks to all our committee members/crew and not to forget , the performers as well.

Emcee :  Dylan and Mr Albert Ling

On the performance , we managed to bring up School Brotherz to perform , champions of the Gatsby 5th Dance Competiton featuring beatboxers , where music is produced without using any instruments.

Besides that , everyone was very participative in the Cypher sessions , people were like so hyped up, jumping tremendously in a good way and suprisingly non - dancers as well.

Last but not least , THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR ATTENDING , for making the event much more awesome. It was total success , everyone left with a smile and we hope that everyone learned something new yet different and innovative. We are really looking forward to organise a jamming session again.

Stay tuned. :)

August Intake Orientation - C&S Day

Hey everyone! How's September coming?
On the 29th of August, Dance Club once again had their Dance Club booth set up on Clubs & Societies Day. Not to mention, it's the last orientation that Taylor's had and the last C&S day of the year 2012. With all the hype of the nearing Independence Day, Taylor's University decided to have a Merdeka theme for the August intake orientation.

Here are some photos taken:

The signups were quite a number again. But Dance Club didn't end the day like this, we also performed for Orientation Party as well. Which was themed Slumber Party :)

July Orientation

Hello there.

On the 1st of August, Dance Club booth was set up in front of SLC for the recruitment of the fresh July Intake students, during the Clubs and Societies session.

Here's how our booth looked like
As you can see, much effort was put into the booth's decoration. You don't know how long it takes to complete the inner-shattered-triangles formed, "TUDC" decoration @@ and of course,
big thanks for the helpful committees who turned up to decorate and help out at the booth :)

Photos were taken by Taylor's University Orientation Leader
The dancers, (from left) Arvin, Timothy Natalie, Tiffany, Yansen and Aaron

And here's the performance video. Choreographed by Aaron and Natalie!

Peace out.

OIC camp

Late post again :) well better late than never. But please don't say that as an excuse to practices, you gotta be on time, dear members. Be punctual, discipline :P
Okay, on the 26th of May, 2 dance crews from TUDC performed for the annual OIC Camp. This year, the crowd was huge, loud and pretty more 'alive' than we expected. We didn't let the climax down when we performed, instead, they went crazy at every moves we made.

OIC Camp happens every year with almost a total of a thousand teenagers from high schools joining. High schools like Tsun Jin Independent school, Sri KL, SMK Taman Maluri, to name a few. This time, May 2012, they decided to hold it in Taylor's Lakeside.

Here are some pictures of us before being on stage. Were we nervous? After taking a peek at the amount of crowd, err, yea you can quite answer that.
